Exterior of the ID.3 Neo

With its bright, harmonious appearance and unique character, the new ID.3 Neo sends a clear signal about the new design language of the ID models. The roof and trunk lid in the color of the car, along with the new design of the front section featuring smooth integrated LED headlights, define its modern shapes. Depending on the equipment line, the bold design is also emphasized by a specific light signature and illuminated Volkswagen logo.

All proportions of the new ID.3 Neo are precisely coordinated: the front section, side lines, and rear transition smoothly into each other, giving the car a confident stance. Individual elements ensure alloy wheels in various sizes – optionally even with the new 20-inch "Zwickau" alloy wheels from the Life equipment line. With the fresh shade of paint “Blue Sea”, the new ID.3 Neo looks even purer, more modern, and more self-assured.

Interior in ID.3 Neo

Even in the interior, the new ID.3 Neo remains true to its clean lines and presents a new design language "Pure Positive" of the ID. models – with a unique and valuable character.

All materials are selected with extraordinary care and create a pleasantly premium environment. Everything is organized neatly and is intuitively operable. From the very first moment, you will feel as if you are in a familiar place.

The steering wheel, which is flattened at the top and bottom, fits ergonomically in the hand and is equipped with physical buttons. Thanks to its specific shape, you will always enjoy a perfect view of the new 10.2-inch (26 cm) driver information display "ID. Cockpit": all important information is right in your line of sight. The climate control panel with physical buttons also ensures exceptionally comfortable operation.

Gently structured decorations and soft padded surfaces on the doors and dashboard create a pleasant feeling in the interior. Additional comfort is provided by four electrically operated windows and a foldable center armrest with generous storage space.

Driving Dynamics and Comfort

With the newly developed electric motor APP 350, the new ID.3 Neo consistently focuses on higher efficiency and improved driving performance. The drive is based on the proven type APP 310 and has been purposefully further developed to extend the range in everyday use while also enabling significantly more dynamic acceleration. The APP 350 combines modern drive technology with a balanced ratio between efficiency and driving dynamics: depending on the model variant, it increases range compared to the previous drive by up to 40 kilometers. At the same time, energy consumption in the WLTP cycle decreases significantly. This ensures higher efficiency in everyday use and supports a relaxed, predictable use of the vehicle on a regular day.

Heat Pump

With the heat pump, which is part of the standard equipment from the Life line (available optionally for the Trend line), you can heat the interior of your ID. using less energy than with conventional heating. This can have a positive effect on the range. Compared to a vehicle with an internal combustion engine, an electric vehicle does not generate enough waste heat in the drive components to sufficiently heat the interior. Solution: The heat pump system compresses the refrigerant under high pressure. The resulting heat is used to warm the incoming cold air. This way, less energy is drawn from the battery for high-voltage heating, which can lead to extended range compared to electric vehicles without a heat pump.
